"Jesus wept." It may be the shortest verse in the New Testament but it's profound in what it teaches.
"Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends."
"And I lay down my life for the sheep."
When "Jesus wept" he outwardly expressed the deep love he felt inside. When he atoned for us and lay down his life, he outwardly expressed the deep love he felt inside.
And for whom did he feel that love, for whom does he feel it now? You. Personally and individually.

What I Believe
I believe in God, that we are all His children, that He loves us, and that we are on the earth as part of a plan created for our benefit.
I believe God desires for us to be happy, that we have the freedom to choose but not the freedom of choosing the consequences of our choices.
I believe all people have an internal compass that let's us know what is right and wrong.
I believe that God expects us to care for others and to serve others.
I believe that families are the basic foundation of society, that God instituted families to help us in our struggles, and that a successful marriage relationship and strong family brings happiness.
I believe God calls prophets in modern times just as He did in ancient times to guide and direct us, to share His word and will with us.
I believe Joseph Smith was called by God to be His prophet, was inspired to translate the writings of ancient prophets known as "The Book of Mormon: Another Testament of Jesus Christ", and restored His truths in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
These are my basic beliefs. I strive to live my life each day to adhere to these beliefs. They guide my life and guide my decisions. I feel very blessed to have this guidance because I feel secure that I'm not alone, that God is aware of me personally, and that He has not forgotten us here on earth.
